Monkey Swapping Complete
In the same week I sent off my swap package and received mine! This is what I sent Lynn.

Along with the monkey socks I sent a key chain, a journal, a banana/pear scented candle, a book mark. I also include some stitch markers I made and a row counter (I didn't make). I tucked some of the goodies in a cell phone bag I knit and included some edibles. I almost forgot about the skein of recycled silk. I had a lot of fun putting it together.
Yesterday I received my swap package from Meghann. Look what I got!

Some luscious monkey socks in a dreamy color, a banana bread scented monkey candle, a mirror, stamp and thank you’s. She also sent some cute stitch markers from Hide and Sheep. Perfect for sock knitting!
Yesterday I wound up a ball of Lorna’s Laces for my next project the Mock Wave Cable Socks. This is my first Favorite Socks KAL project. After a search of the site I discovered no one has knit these up yet. My first step is to figure out the Norwegian cast-on it calls for. I was going to do that yesterday while I was at Joy’s water polo tournament but she kept volunteering to play in more games (some teams did not have enough players show up). So by the time there was a break in her play my back hurt so much that I went outside and laid down in the grass, which helped a lot. I hope to get started later today.

I am hoping this pattern will be a good match for the beautiful colors in this yarn.

Yeah! I'm so glad you got your monkey socks:) Those were so fun to knit and that yarn is one of my favorites! My friend kept giggling at the monkey candle, but it smells really good! I bought myself some of those stitch markers at the same time and they are great for socks! Enjoy!:)
